Staying Healthy And Happy As Women

Women tend to have too much on their plate at times, but somehow they always seem juggle it all. Balancing a career and a family as many women do is hard work. As a result, many women fail to meet their own needs and that is something you want to avoid. In order to stay healthy and happy, women need to take care of their own needs without feeling guilty.
It is important for a woman to get at least 15-30 minutes of exercise each day. While cleaning house and grocery shopping do count, try to do something you enjoy such as taking a walk or going to the gym. Staying in good physical shape will help your mood, boost your self confidence, and lower your risk of many different types of medical problems.
Time is very precious for women as they find it hard to get any to themselves. Take a couple of hours each week to engage in activities you thoroughly enjoy. They need to be for yourself and not someone else. For example you can go to a scrapbooking club, read a book, or simply soak in a hot bath for an hour or so.
It doesn’t take much to be a healthy and happy woman, but you need to get past feeling guilty when you do something for yourself. You aren’t going to benefit anyone else if you aren’t meeting your own needs as well. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and to say no when your plate is already full.
